Legal case filed against platforms publishing images of women without hijab

A spokesperson for the Judiciary announced the filing of a case against platforms that publish images of women without the hijab.
According to the "Danshjo" news agency, Masoud Setayshi, spokesman for the judiciary, announced that a legal case has been filed against platforms that publish images without the hijab, and the judicial system will follow up on this issue seriously, firmly, and sensitively.
He also stated regarding the sealing and seizure of the activities of the guilds regarding the treatment of the lack of hijab for which a legal case has been filed: "Observing and respecting the laws is one of the duties of all members of society and a sign of the culture and civility of individuals. The hijab has also been one of these progressive laws and respected by all members of the Muslim community of Iran for centuries. Unfortunately, recently, a number of domestic platforms, in an inappropriate and illegal act, began publishing images that were condemned by society and contrary to our native culture. For this reason, a legal case has been filed for these platforms in the relevant judicial units of the judiciary, and the judicial system will seriously pursue this issue with sensitivity in order to fulfill its legal duties and protect the cultural rights of the people and safeguard the foundations of their civilization.
He also noted that if any sealing or seizure has taken place in this regard, it was without the relevant notification or order from the judiciary, and so far no such order has been issued by us to seal various places or business units.
