Tohid Qureshi and Hamzeh Darvish were transferred to Rajai Shahr prison after six days of incommunicado detention.

"Tohid Qureshi" and "Hamza Darvish", two Sunni prisoners who were transferred to an unknown location six days ago under the pretext of being summoned by the prison's health deputy's office, were returned to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj.
An informed source told VOA: These two Sunni prisoners, who were transferred to an unknown location by the authorities of Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj on Saturday, June 8, were returned to their former ward in Rajai Shahr Prison on Thursday, June 13, and it was revealed that during this time they had been transferred to Ward 2-A, under the supervision of IRGC intelligence.
It is said that these two political prisoners were subjected to unusual and violent behavior during their transfer to and return from prison, including handcuffs, shackles, and blindfolds.
According to this informed source, in addition to the interrogation of these two Sunni prisoners, Mr. Qureshi has been sent to Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to handle a new case that the Ministry of Intelligence has opened against him. Upon the protest of this prisoner of conscience, regarding the lack of respect for his legal rights during the court process and the absence of a lawyer at the court session, he refused to answer the judge's questions.
Tohid Qureshi was arrested by security agents in early May 2014 and put on trial a year later. The trial court initially sentenced Mr. Qureshi to 10 years in prison, which was reduced to 7 years in prison by the appeals court, with the sentences being combined to approximately four years.
Hamza Darwish, a Sunni prisoner, also claims that in 2014, forces of a fundamentalist group based in Syria tricked him into taking him to Turkey and then transferring him to Syria. He was in ISIS prison for a while and then escaped to Iran after receiving a letter of safety from the Iranian embassy in Turkey, presented himself to the security forces, and even had the chance to be released on bail and start a quail farming business.
After a year of release on bail, Hamzeh Darwish was rearrested and sentenced to 15 years in prison in a dubious trial held by Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court. He has currently been in prison for more than two years.
