I have inherited this courage from the women of my country who have been starting their lives every day for years with resistance and equality and ending them with the dream of freedom.

I will stay in Iran and stop working. I will stand with the families of the imprisoned and the killed and I will be their advocate. I will fight for my home, I will pay whatever it takes to stand for my rights, and most importantly, I believe in what we are building together today.

This encouraging message from Taraneh Alidoosti, a popular artist, once again made people realize that there are still artists who are with the people and are not ration-bearers of the Islamic Republic government.
