Armed attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran

This morning, Friday, February 27, an armed attack took place on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

After the announcement of the approval of the inclusion of the Revolutionary Guards on the terrorist list, the Iranian government drew lines and signals that Europe would lose out by this action.

The first terrorist attack after the release of this news took place this morning, Friday, January 27, equivalent to 7 Bahman. This armed attack targeted the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to videos posted on social media, it appears that the attack was pre-planned, as the security guard sitting at the kiosk in front of the embassy entrance did not react to the gunman's attack.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry confirmed the attack. It should be noted that immediately after this incident, the personnel of the Iranian embassy in the Republic of Azerbaijan immediately left the embassy, which proves another proof of the prior planning of the terrorist attack.

One person was killed and two others were injured in the terrorist attack. The deceased was identified as the "head of embassy security."

And the government, which has always done its job with lies, in this case, too, without paying attention to the surveillance cameras, fed the news agencies another lie. Mohammad Shahriari, head of the Tehran Criminal Prosecutor's Office, announced in this regard that the attacker carried out this armed attack thinking that his wife was present at the embassy.

Elsewhere, Tehran Police Chief Hossein Rahimi said in an interview with some media outlets that the gunman entered the embassy with his two young children and opened fire. However, in the video recorded by CCTV cameras, there is no sign of the two young children as the gunman entered.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also called the attack a terrorist attack and said: "We demand that this terrorist act be investigated as soon as possible and that its perpetrators be punished. A terrorist attack on diplomatic missions is unacceptable."

There are contradictory statements about this terrorist attack, which suggest a pre-determined scenario. It is very likely that the Islamic Republic government, by designing this scenario, intended to disrupt public opinion so that it could perhaps slow down the pace of the popular revolution.
