Families of Ahvaz detainees demand determination of fate of their relatives

Images and messages published on social media indicate that a group of families of those arrested in recent protests in Ahvaz gathered in front of the governor's office and the office of the city's representative in parliament.
According to these images, the families of the detainees held a rally on Monday, April 17, holding placards demanding that the fate of their detained relatives be determined.
The protest rallies in Ahvaz took place more than two weeks ago to protest the neglect of Khuzestan Arabs in a children's television program.
Their protest in the early days turned violent and confrontational with serious intervention by the police.
Some reports indicate that around 500 people were arrested during these protests.
