On the eve of Chaharshanbeh Suri, Prince Reza Pahlavi invited the people of Iran to gather for this ancient celebration.
In a message on his personal Telegram page, Prince Reza Pahlavi invited the people of Iran to gather on the last Wednesday of the year by holding the Chaharshanbeh Suri celebration and ritual, and to honor this ritual as a sign of the "victory of light over darkness."
In this message to the Iranian nation, he wrote: "This year, more passionately than ever, we gather on the night of Chaharshanbe Suri, preserving the culture of our ancestors, and light the fire of national solidarity as a sign of the end of winter and the victory of light over darkness. May the name of Iran and the pleasant melody of "O Iran, O fertile border" resonate throughout our beloved homeland, along with the celebration and singing."
Prince Pahlavi's press office also wrote on Sunday, March 16, quoting him: "National and ancient celebrations have been symbols of our national identity and unity for thousands of years, Iranians, and tools of our nation's resistance against Iran's occupiers."
