"Two-thirds" of the population of Kerman's Baft city have become marginalized

Mehrdad Aminifar, Kerman's representative in the Supreme Council of Provinces, while listing the numerous problems of Kerman province, stated that the phenomenon of marginalization has become one of the problems of Kerman city.
He told ILNA news agency: "40,000 people out of Baft's population of 60,000 have migrated to Kerman and Sirjan. The reason for migration is the lack of employment and adequate facilities, including education, healthcare, recreation, etc. All of these issues have come together to make Kerman have 45,000 marginalized people."
According to Aminifar, with the complete drying of the Jazmurian River, fine dust has also increased.
Kerman's representative in the Supreme Council of Provinces said that people have spontaneously started planting trees in desert areas, but some "profit-seeking individuals" have also cut down old trees.
