Two border guards killed in Sistan and Baluchestan province

The Sistan and Baluchestan border guard announced the killing of two border guards in Saravan. Iranian media and officials have not commented on the details of the incident. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the killing of the border guards.
On Thursday, April 15, the Sistan and Baluchestan Border Guard issued a statement announcing the deaths of Stowarik Abolfazl Hashemi, a resident of Zahedan County, and Stowarik Mohammad Nasiri, a resident of Zahak County, Sistan and Baluchestan.
Both of the killed border guards were affiliated with the Saravan Border Regiment in the eastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, and as stated in the border guard's announcement, both were "martyred" while on duty.
The Sistan and Baluchestan Border Guard's announcement did not provide any details about the incident in which the border guards were killed.
Two days before this incident, Hossein Kaykha, the police commander of Iranshahr in Sistan and Baluchestan province, had announced that unknown gunmen had opened fire on the private car of two border guards from the Negor Border Regiment who were returning from leave and heading to their duty station, resulting in the death of one border guard and minor injuries to another.
The exact cause and details of this incident have not yet been announced, and no group has yet claimed responsibility for such attacks and military actions.
