Two senior IRGC Quds Force officials killed in Israeli strike on Syria

Two senior officials of the IRGC's Quds Force were killed in an Israeli attack on Syria this morning.
According to the Basij-affiliated student news agency, the IRGC's Quds Force intelligence commander and his deputy were killed in an Israeli attack on Damascus this morning, Saturday, January 19.
The Quds Force is one of the five branches of the IRGC that conducts overseas missions. According to published reports, the intelligence commander of the Quds Force is the highest-ranking IRGC official targeted by Israel in Syria.
In the airstrike, a residential building in the Al-Mezha area of Damascus was targeted and severely damaged. This area is considered one of the important areas of Damascus where important government buildings and centers are located.
According to some informed sources, 4 people were killed in these attacks, but exact statistics on the number of injured, killed, and their identities are not yet available.
