Reza Koshkinezhad, Army First Warrant Officer, Transferred to Ilam Prison

Reza Koshkinezhad, an air defense officer of the army, was transferred from Parsillon Prison in Khorramabad to Ilam Prison.

Reza Koshkinezhad is a first warrant officer of air defense in the army and a lecturer at Azad University in Abdanan, and a native of Lorestan. At the beginning of the revolution and public protests in the current year, he courageously announced his support for the Iranian people by releasing a video message.

In this video, Reza Koshki says: “These suppressions are by politicians to sow discord among people so that people do not think about a common goal. Your call, O people of Iran, and your request from us soldiers, as your own children, to support and protect us, reached the ears of all soldiers years ago, and I, as a representative of a large section of the military body, have answered your call and give you this promise that the army, because of your heartfelt and sincere request, is with you and will not allow any enemy outside these borders or within to suppress and kill, and in the face of any force that raises its hand against our people, we will deal with it decisively and severely. Do not doubt that we stand with you, we die, and we will sacrifice our precious lives for you.”

After his support for the Iranian people and other statements he had released, Reza Koshkinezhad was arrested by the Islamic Republic government and transferred to Parsillon Prison in Khorramabad.

Mojtaba Koshkinezhad, Reza’s brother, announced in a tweet hours ago that his brother was transferred from Parsillon Prison in Khorramabad to Ilam Prison. He also acknowledged that we still have no news from him, but in any case, there are more important matters called the homeland.

The complete video of Reza Koshkinezhad’s statements can be viewed below.
