Flood death toll in Iran rises to 39

Rain and flooding in various regions of Iran, which began in late March, have claimed 39 lives so far.
As confirmed by the deputy for crisis management at the Iranian Forensic Medicine Organization, 30 people have lost their lives in the second wave of rainfall and flooding in various provinces of Iran, and it was previously announced that the first wave of flooding in the northern and northeastern provinces of Iran had left 9 dead.
According to a list that the Forensic Medicine Organization provided to news agencies, including ISNA, on Wednesday evening, in the second wave of rainfall and flooding in Iran, in addition to 19 flood victims in Shiraz, one person in Sarpol Zahab, one in Semnan, one in Khuzestan, one in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, two in Lorestan, and five in Golestan Province lost their lives due to flooding or related incidents.
The names on this list indicate that 10 of the flood victims in Shiraz were residents of the city, and the other 9 were travelers who had traveled to Shiraz from other cities in Fars Province or other parts of the country.
