Beating and murder of a client by officials at the Islamshahr addiction treatment camp

On Thursday, September 15, a client at an addiction treatment camp in Tehran's Islamshahr was beaten by three camp managers and died after being taken to the hospital. An arrest warrant has been issued for the three camp managers to complete the investigation into the case after the forensic doctor confirmed the client's cause of death.
According to HRANA news agency, citing Rokna, on Thursday, September 15, 1402, a client lost his life after being beaten by three managers of an addiction treatment camp.
According to the report, the 45-year-old man, named Saeed, was one of the clients of an addiction treatment camp in Islamshahr, Tehran. He was beaten by three camp managers and, after his condition deteriorated, was transferred to Fayyaz Bakhsh Hospital, where he eventually died five days later.
After that, investigator Mostafa Vahedi from Branch 11 of the Tehran Criminal Affairs Prosecutor's Office issued an order to arrest three directors of the addiction treatment camp so that additional investigations could be conducted in the case after the forensic medical report on Saeed's cause of death is announced.
From a scientific perspective, addicts are sick people who need help and should be freed from this disease with the support of society and family. In Iran, there are addiction treatment centers that easily receive licenses, and there is no proper monitoring of their performance and how they deal with such patients by the relevant organizations.
