Abdul Karim Abedini: The Quran states that Jews are our number one enemies

Abdul Karim Abedini, the Friday prayer imam of Qazvin, stated that according to the verses of the Quran, Jews are our number one enemies.

Ayatollah Abdul Karim Abedini, Friday prayer imam and representative of Ali Khamenei in Qazvin, while asking Friday prayer imams about the weekly Friday prayer program titled "Jewish-centered hostility," announced: "In the weekly Friday prayer program, a sermon should be read about the oppression of Jews so that people can fundamentally understand what is meant by the enemy."

He pointed out that, based on the verses of the Quran in Surah Juma, verses 5 to 8, it shows a Jewish-centric animosity, adding: "The Jews are a foreign enemy and the hypocrites are also a domestic enemy. Since ancient times, we have had foreign and domestic enemies. Domestic enemies do not mean that there are enemies within Iran's borders, but rather this issue should be viewed globally. For example, if the Saudis bombed Yemeni missiles midway and before they reached the occupied territories, they should be called domestic enemies."

The renewed Qazvin Friday prayer imam continued, referring to verse 39 of Surah Anfal in the Quran: "This Surah says, O believers, fight the disbelievers until there is no more sedition and corruption. Sedition has two major examples, one example of which is the Jews and the other example of which is the hypocrites and seditionists."

It should be noted that after the Hamas terrorist group attacked Israel and the war began, political and military officials, as well as religious authorities and representatives of the Supreme Leader in the provinces, organized Friday imams and the Islamic Propaganda Organization, and are trying to launch an anti-Semitic campaign by referring to the Quran. Ali Khamenei also announced after meeting with a group of Basijis: "The policy of the Islamic Republic is not to throw Jews and Zionists into the sea, but we must know that they are our enemies."

In recent months, the presence of security forces and Basij forces at the tomb of Esther and Mordechai has clearly demonstrated anti-Semitism. Security forces prevented Jews from holding ceremonies and attending the tomb of Esther and Mordechai.
