Looting people under the guise of taxes

The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran charges people a certain amount of money as taxes on their energy bills.

According to the Value Added Tax law for the supply of goods and services in Iran, after calculating the amount of energy consumption and adding the amount of municipal fees and a small amount as a subscription to it, an amount is obtained to which 9 percent is again added as Value Added Tax, and the resulting number is the amount payable to the government.

A video has been posted by citizens on social media showing that overcharged taxes are being charged to customers on utility bills, which are indicative of the looting of people's property through utility bills.

Most people do not pay attention to the amounts written on their utility bills and immediately pay the bills out of concern that their energy will not be cut off. However, with a little attention, they can realize how much money the government is collecting from 80 million Iranians on these same utility bills under various pretexts.

In this published video, the citizen announces that he will have to pay an additional 500,000 tomans for gas consumption.

This citizen writes in the published message, "Do the math yourself. 90 percent of utility bills are sent to consumers electronically, and it is not clear how they do the calculations behind the scenes."

The best way to bankrupt a government is to not pay its bills. If all subscribers refuse to pay for six months, the government will face a huge budget deficit. The government doesn't want a bankrupt country either, so it has to go, this requires unity among the people to do this together.
