Gholamali Beski, known as the "Father of Iranian Nature", has passed away.

Gholamali Beski, an environmental activist known as the "Father of Iranian Nature," has died at the age of 88.

According to IRNA, Mr. Beski had been hospitalized and under care for six years due to a stroke, first in the hospital and then at home, but on November 6 last year, he was transferred to the intensive care unit of Beski Hospital in Gonbad-e-Kavos due to respiratory problems.

Mr. Beski passed away on the morning of Wednesday, August 13, at the age of 88 after a period of illness.

Gholamali Beski graduated from the University of Tehran in 1966 with a degree in gynecological surgery and established a hospital in the same year in the city of Gonbad-Kavos, but in 1969 he abandoned city life and dedicated his life to defending the environment.

Among his actions during his lifetime were the establishment of the Dr. Besky International Foundation, titled the School of the Sanctity of Life, the establishment of the Gifted School, and the Math House of Golestan Province.
