Sadeh Festival Call Coinciding with the Beginning of Decade of Fajr

The call for Sadeh festival celebrations coinciding with the start of the Decade of Fajr will be held from Monday, 10th to 12th of Bahman throughout Iran.

The Sadeh festival event and the story of fire discovery dates back to the reign of Hushang, which has historical foundations. The subject of Sadeh festival and the discovery of fire, which the great Iranian poet “Ferdowsi” addressed, is not a fictional matter but rather has very deep roots in the history of thousands of years of Iranian civilization. This festival was held fifty days before Nowruz, which falls on 10th Bahman.

The people of Iran have prepared a call on this occasion so that from the beginning of Sadeh festival, which is two days before the start of the Decade of Fajr in the Islamic Revolution, they can come to the streets and, by lighting the festival fire to commemorate the victory of the popular revolution uprising, declare their protest against the Islamic Republic regime.
