According to HRANA news agency, citing ISNA, the military prosecutor of Sistan and Baluchestan province confirmed the death of a 5-year-old child as a result of shooting by police officers in Iranshahr city, and announced the summoning and arrest of the officers in question.
Alireza Moussaei said in this regard: "Following the news of the death of a five-year-old child during a shooting by police officers in Iranshahr city, an investigation into the matter was launched at the Military Prosecutor's Office."
He added: "The officers who opened fire in this incident were summoned and arrested after a preliminary investigation to examine the various angles of the incident."
The military prosecutor of Sistan and Baluchestan province emphasized: The case is being investigated specifically at the provincial military prosecutor's office.
