Oil prices rise after Iran attacks US drone

Global oil prices rose on Thursday, June 20, after the Revolutionary Guards targeted an American drone.
The United States says the Islamic Republic of Iran attacked the drone in international waters.
According to Bloomberg, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil rose about 4% on Thursday and traded at $65 a barrel.
A large portion of the world's oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran, which has recently seen increased tensions.
