Persian-speaking churches of Council 222 in the Netherlands turn twenty

If two people do not think and dream together, they will not be able to do something together and they will certainly not be successful. Jesus Christ builds the church of God, but it is people from different languages and nationalities who work to advance the goals of the kingdom of God.
I am happy that today we are witnessing the fruit of a team effort that I started many years ago with my brother Andre, pastor of the Wegwijzer church. A wonderful job has been done.
This was part of the speech of Pastor Lazarus Yaknazar, President of the 222 Church Council, at the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 222 Churches of the Netherlands and the inauguration of the new church building in Almere. He continued his speech by stating that “in the world, too, a collective and common work begins with a common dream. Just as wives and husbands, if they do not have a common dream, their marriage will fall apart.”
He continued: "Many people were with us in the dream. People like Khalat and David Caster, who helped us produce the TV programs, and my brother Andre, who founded the Wegwijzer Church, were also part of our dream. Today we see what a magnificent and magnificent church has been built, and we are proud to open the Persian-speaking group of this church."
In the continuation of this ceremony, Pastor Andre delivered a speech to the invited guests. He stated that “God’s calling for us is to proclaim His Word until the end of the world. Twenty-two years ago, God made a promise to me: Do not be afraid and speak and do not be silent because I am with you. We must not be silent and in these days we must extend our hands to each other and, in unity, deliver the Word of God to everyone.”
He continued: "When I became acquainted with the services of Council 222, I was deeply touched by their vision and dream for Iran. I believe that God wants to fulfill His promise in these days."
Pastor Andre continued: "We are in line with the vision of the 222nd Church Council and believe that God's promises regarding Iran will be fulfilled in the near future. In this path, not us, but God's word and promise are most important."
The ceremony continued with the introduction of the ministers of Church Council 222, and appreciation was given to those who have collaborated with the council over the past twenty years.
Joel Voordewind, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Christian Yoni, was another special guest at the event, who spoke for a few minutes to the participants.
In his introduction, he spoke about his efforts to help Christian converts in Iran. He mentioned that he intends to travel to Iran in the near future. He has tried many times, but has not succeeded. He expressed hope that this will happen soon and that with the cooperation of other organizations and groups, he will be able to meet with Christians in Iran and in this country. And in his position, he will not fail in any effort to support the persecuted Christian converts in Iran and will stand on this path.
The ceremony ended with a speech by Rev. Verge Babakhani, supervisor of Persian-speaking churches in the Council 222 of the Netherlands, an introduction to other churches in the Netherlands 222 (Venezuela, Zwolle, Groningen, Almelo, etc.), and a speech by Rev. Vahik Abramian, pastor of the Persian-speaking church in Almere.
