Mohammad Sahedi, a student at the University of Tehran, was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Mohammad Sahedi, a student activist at the University of Tehran, was sentenced in absentia to five years in prison. This is despite the fact that no notification or summons has been sent to this citizen so far, and the entire process of investigation and sentencing has taken place without his knowledge or presence.

According to HRANA News Agency, citing the channel of the country's student union councils, Mohammad Sahedihi, a student activist at the University of Tehran, was sentenced to five years in prison.

According to this report, following the seizure of one of the union activist's bank cards by an ATM machine and the investigation into the cause of this incident through the bank, it was determined that a letter from Branch 1 of the Martyr Moghaddas Sentence Enforcement Office (Evin Prison Sentence Enforcement Office) was sent to the banks on October 25 to block all of his accounts. Ultimately, when the union activist's lawyer referred the student to the Evin Prison Sentence Enforcement Office, the student's 5-year prison sentence was verbally communicated to the lawyer.

The charge brought against this citizen was conspiracy to act against national security. However, because the entire investigation process, including the explanation of the charges, the issuance of the indictment, the holding of the hearing, and the issuance of the verdict, was carried out without the student's knowledge and completely in absentia, and the verdict is currently in the execution stage, there is no information about the details and examples of the verdict issued.
