Ebrahim Raisi's campaign deputy becomes Tehran governor

On Sunday, October 8, the government delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran introduced Mohsen Mansouri as the governor of Tehran.
Mr. Mansouri, who is 37 years old, served as the deputy head of the Coordinating Council for Ebrahim Raisi's election campaigns during the 1400 presidential election.
Mohsen Mansouri said at the time that Ebrahim Raisi's campaign headquarters were not seeking to gain influence and were operating based on their duties.
Mohsen Mansouri was the governor of Varamin in the government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and in previous years worked as the CEO of the Astan Quds Razavi Dignity Foundation on behalf of Ebrahim Raisi.
