Missing persons in the protests

Many citizens have been arrested during nationwide protests after being beaten by government officials and then disappeared, with no information available about their status or whereabouts.

A number of families have also not reported the disappearance of their family members to the media due to threats from security forces.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Marjan Jangoj was arrested in Golestan town of Shiraz after being beaten by security officers near the Qalat area of Shiraz, and there is no news about her condition yet. Marjan's friends say: "Please be Marjan's voice. She has been kidnapped for more than ten days. She has no parents, and apparently her siblings have been threatened not to report this to the media."

Donya Farhadi is a 22-year-old architecture student at Ahvaz Azad University who went missing on the Ahvaz cable bridge following protests in the city. Her lifeless body was found downstream of the Karun River by residents of the village of Mozaffariyeh after 8 days of being missing.

Dr. Aida Rostami, who along with her colleagues went to the homes of those injured in the protests and treated them, contacted her family after she went missing for several days from the Ekbatan police station and announced that Aida had been in an accident and had died. This news comes at a time when her family, upon seeing her lifeless body, reported that one side of her face was crushed, her hand was broken, and her left eye had been drained.

In Sanandaj city, where a protest rally was held on Thursday against the recent execution of protesters at the Sanandaj Girls' Technical College, security forces abducted five students from the college on the street without issuing an arrest warrant. It is worth mentioning that the names of these students are "Bita Veisi", "Tina Khodari", "Sana Khodamoradi", "Razvan Bazani-Qateh", and "Hanahi Chahardoli".

Unfortunately, the kidnapping of people from children to middle-aged people continues during the protests in Iran. After being kidnapped, citizens are either found dead, severely injured and showing signs of beatings, or there is no information about their condition or whereabouts.
