Quds Force officially acknowledges its hackers' activities in attacking Israeli sites

While Western countries accuse the Islamic Republic of cyberattacks on other countries, and despite Tehran's repeated denials of this accusation, the Iranian Quds Force Telegram channel has openly reported the activities of hackers affiliated with it.

On Thursday, a Telegram channel called the "Quds Force" wrote that hackers affiliated with the IRGC had managed to hack the Shalom Hartman Institute website. The channel also published a screenshot of the hacked page.

The Shalom Hartman Institute is an Israeli Jewish educational and research institution operating in this country and North America.

Of course, an hour later, the site resumed its normal operations.

The United States added the IRGC to its list of terrorist groups a few months ago. The IRGC's Quds Force is commanded by Qassem Soleimani, who is also subject to US sanctions, along with other IRGC commanders.

Microsoft announced on Friday, October 3, that it had identified "significant" activities by a cyber group in Iran that targeted next year's US election campaign.

Previously, hackers from Iran attacked a large American accounting firm.
