Christian activists warn of Iran's collapse: "No one is neutral"

Christian activists, while warning about the collapse of Iran, declared that no one is neutral and that responsibility for decisions will remain.
Following the escalation of political, social, and security crises in Iran, the Christian Activists for a Free Iran organization has issued an unprecedented statement, addressing a wide range of government officials and forces and warning about the future of the country. The statement presents a worrying picture of the current situation and emphasizes that Iran is on a path that could lead to widespread collapse and destruction.
The statement, which was released yesterday, Sunday, April 5, is not considered just an internal position, but a copy of it was also sent to some Western politicians at the United Nations. This action shows that the authors of the statement are trying to draw the attention of the international community to the current developments in Iran and warn of their consequences.
The text of the statement states: "What is happening in Iran today is no longer an ordinary crisis." This sentence forms the central point of the message; a message that believes that the situation has passed the stage of temporary crises and entered a structural and profound situation.
The organization also emphasizes that the continuation of the current trend is not a sign of authority, but rather “a sign of loss of control and increasing costs that will directly affect the people and future of Iran.” Such an assessment reflects the growing concern that has also been raised in recent months by human rights organizations and international analysts.
In another part of the statement, the concept of “individual responsibility” is prominently emphasized. The authors clarify that in the current situation, no one can consider themselves neutral or just an executor, and any action, or even silence, is considered a conscious choice, the consequences of which will be borne by the individual.
Referring to current decisions within the government structure, the statement adds that these actions have "led to increasing the suffering of the people, destroying the country, and deepening the crisis," an issue that, according to the organization, is visible even within official institutions.
The statement then confronts its audience with a moral and historical choice: "Participate in a path that leads to more violence, destruction, and human suffering, or distance yourself from it and stand with the people who pay the price for these decisions."
This organization calls on government forces and officials to make four specific requests:
- They should immediately cease any participation in repression and violence against the people.
- Refrain from carrying out instructions that will cause further harm.
- Use their position and authority to prevent the crisis from escalating.
- At this crucial juncture, stand with the people and join them.
The statement concludes with the statement's emphasis: "No structure is permanent, but the consequences of your decisions will endure." This is a clear summary of the statement's approach, which places individual responsibility above power structures.
Also, by asking thought-provoking questions such as "Why did I continue when I knew? Why didn't I stop when I could?", an attempt has been made to encourage the audience to reconsider their role and performance.
The authors of this statement emphasize in the end that this text is not merely a warning, but rather a "description of a reality"; a reality that, in their belief, has placed Iran's future at a sensitive and decisive point.
