A voice for boycotting the June 14, 2021 elections

A number of civil and political activists from 50 cities and 25 provinces of Iran have written a letter calling on the people to boycott the 2014 presidential elections so that a government that is anti-people does not continue. The content of the letter, which was signed by survivors of victims of nationwide protests, religious minorities, and civil and political activists, is as follows:
To the great nation of Iran
A voice for boycotting the June 14, 2021 elections
And the non-violent transition of the Islamic Republic
To rule by the people, by the people, for the people.
Dear compatriots,
We, the signatories of this letter, are a representative of the rainbow of the Iranian nation, of dissidents, beliefs and religions, of diverse Iranian clans and lineages, of various provinces, cities and villages from across our beloved country, as well as your children, millions of Iranian citizens who have fallen victim to the corruption, violence and inefficiency of the Velayat-e-Faqih government and the closed-system constitution and dictatorship.
We humbly and lovingly ask you, our honorable compatriots, to join in a voice to protect Iran's national interests and protect the lives and property of the people, for a non-violent and peaceful transition from the chaotic system of Velayat-e-Faqih and his regime's imposed inhumane constitution, in order to achieve a secular democratic constitution based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in the name of the National Democratic and Secular Solidarity Movement, boycott the mock presidential elections of the Islamic Republic of Iran on 18 Khordad 1402 (1972) so that the current anti-people government does not continue.
The world today has witnessed the widespread popular protests over the past 42 years that were severely suppressed, especially in the last 12 years, from the uprisings of June 2009, January 2017, and November 2019 to the present, the will of "we" the Iranian people to oppose the theocratic, theocratic system of the Islamic Republic (the Velayat-e-Faqih - Ali Khamenei and his constitution) and our aspiration to achieve a democratic and cosmopolitan constitution.
The foundations of human rights and the interests of the Iranian nation, for coexistence in democratic harmony with neighboring countries and other countries of the world, are not negotiable in any way, and the world must understand this matter well.
We strongly state that those parts of the international community that stand by the democratic and secular national solidarity movement of Iran and do not seek to negotiate with the religious-based thugs of the Islamic Republic in order to trade the interests of the nation will remain in the historical memory of the Iranian nation and will be true friends and allies of democratic Iran.
Dear compatriots, the widespread boycott of the upcoming sham and fraudulent presidential elections by the majority of the Iranian people expresses our will and vote in alignment with the National Solidarity Movement. This movement is moving forward with a firm determination to replace the religious apartheid constitution of the Islamic Republic with a new democratic constitution that guarantees the unconditional implementation of human rights for every citizen of our country, and therefore seeks to create the following conditions:
1. Removal of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,
2. Holding a referendum to dissolve the Constitution of the Islamic Republic,
3. Creating the necessary and sufficient conditions for holding free and fair elections during the transitional period under the supervision of neutral organizations such as the United Nations to form a Constituent Assembly,
4. Drafting the country's new constitution by the Constituent Assembly, based on the following values:
- The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted on December 10, 1948, and all its conventions and covenants,
- Separation of religion from state based on full respect for all religions, beliefs and dissenters,
- Equal citizenship rights for all Iranians, regardless of belief, gender, race, or descent, before the law,
- Equal rights for women and men in all areas of life and politics,
- Freedom of thought and expression, freedom of the press and media,
- Freedom of association and activity of parties, trade unions of workers, artisans, artists, writers, etc.,
- Establishing a free economy based on social justice and the prohibition of any monopoly, creating equal opportunities for all citizens,
- Employing a peaceful foreign policy and constructive diplomatic relations based on national interests, adherence to and respect for international order and laws to maintain peace, security, and stability in the region and around the world, and adherence to the Protocol on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear, Chemical, and Microbial Weapons.
The realization of these ideals rests on the shoulders of all segments of Iranian society, including artisans, artists, journalists, educators, workers, athletes, free clerics, and government administrators, to stand together on this national path and in support of the National Solidarity Movement with the Iranian people to boycott the elections and achieve a non-violent transition from the Islamic Republic system. This is for all people, regardless of their gender, religion, descent, or beliefs - the Republic of Iran.
To the Iranian Armed Forces:
Each of you is a proud son of Iran, a father, mother, brother, sister, friend, acquaintance, and neighbor of the people, and a member of the Iranian family. We call on you, the guardians of this border and homeland, to join and align with the national solidarity movement for the non-violent transition from the Islamic Republic to a democratic-secular government. "We, the nation of Iran," have been fighting for democracy and human rights for more than a century, and we deserve decent living conditions and a bright future for all.
We have learned from the bitter memory of 1979 that revenge, the purge of opponents, executions, spreading hatred and violence have torn apart the cultural, moral, economic, political and social fabric of our country. Iran, this ancient human civilization that rests on the immense wealth of natural and human resources, has reached global isolation with the Islamic Republic in misery and poverty. As a nation, we, from the staunch opponents to the government, are all trapped in a bitter captivity in the quagmire of the theocratic thugs of the Islamic Republic.
Post-Islamic Republic Iran will be governed within the framework of the rule of law based on human rights. No citizen will be arrested or imprisoned for political or ideological beliefs. Government killings and the death penalty will be completely eliminated, revenge and enmity will be eradicated from our midst. Those who are guilty of crimes against the Iranian people will be held accountable to the Iranian people in an independent, democratic, civil justice system and will be treated fairly.
We, the signatories of this letter, with the help of each other, from businessmen to elites, from workers and laborers to entrepreneurs, from intellectuals and cultural figures to the armed forces, will remain steadfast, in unison, until the last breath, on the path of the secular democratic national solidarity movement to establish the rule of law based on democracy and human rights values. Without a doubt, we the people of Iran will achieve victory and our unified Iran will once again play a fundamental role in spreading peace and stability in the global village, based on diplomacy, friendship, and interaction with the free world.
With humility and kindest wishes
