Ayatollah Akhtari's reaction to the actions of the authorities regarding the hijab

Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari reacted to the inappropriate actions of the authorities regarding the hijab.
Last week, the release of a video of a well-known dairy shop owner attacking a mother and daughter with a bucket of yogurt for not wearing the hijab sparked widespread reactions.
Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, CEO of the Ashura International Foundation, said regarding the issue of enjoining good: "Religious people should not behave inappropriately towards those who do not observe religious injunctions. Scholars and clerics should explain to the people the method of enjoining good and forbidding evil. If there is a need for something beyond verbal reminders, it is up to the government."
Ayatollah Akhtari also said in response to the incident of a person attacking two women with a bucket of yogurt: "This is not the act of a believing Muslim. If you talk closely with the person who broadcasted this video, you will confirm my words, the person who committed this act did not act out of belief in religion and good conduct, and we are against this act. If someone attributes this act to a Muslim, a follower of the Ahl al-Bayt, or a responsible person, we are against it, we consider it wrong, and it is not true."
"Anyone who has done or will do this is definitely not a believer, a religious person, a follower, or a follower of the famous, but rather a sick or biased person who wants to destroy religion."
Mohammad Hassan Akhtari reacted to this action while the Islamic Republic regime sealed off a dairy shop because the shop owner had kicked out a person in charge of the business and supported the women present in the shop.
Also, many videos of this person published on social media indicate that he harasses, abuses, and insults women and girls in public places, and the regime has not taken any action to arrest or reprimand him.
