Iran's Prosperity Project Unveiled; Reza Pahlavi Re-Emphasizes Unified Iran and Democratic Transition

The unveiling of the Iran Prosperity Project, with its emphasis on a unified Iran and a democratic transition program, along with the publication of a new edition of the Emergency Period Handbook, indicates detailed planning after the transition period.

While Iran's political atmosphere continues to be affected by internal developments and external pressures, Reza Pahlavi, by publishing an updated version of the "Emergency Handbook," spoke about a project that he describes as a roadmap for governing the country in the first months after the fall of the Islamic Republic.

In a video he posted on social media last night, he explained the dimensions of the “Iranian Prosperity Project,” once again emphasizing the preservation of the country’s territorial integrity and considered any tendency toward separatism to be his “red line.” This stance comes at a time when discussions about the future structure of the government, the rights of ethnic groups, and the shape of the future political system have become a serious issue among the forces opposing the Islamic Republic.

In a meeting with members of the "Nationalist Congress of Iranian Peoples," Pahlavi stated that Iran must remain unified and under the rule of law, and emphasized that in the future of freedom, a transparent legal framework will guarantee the equality of all citizens.

He said: "Iran belongs to all Iranian people and every corner of it belongs to each of us. A unified Iran under one flag will have the greatest guarantee of protecting our rights and freedoms."

He also warned that the disintegration of Iran is his "red line," adding: "We cannot fail to confront those who have the motive to disintegrate Iran or are hostile to the very foundation of our Iranian identity."

This opposition figure emphasized that in the future after the Islamic Republic, the "rule of law" will be the basis for governing the country and all citizens will be equal before the law. He said: "In the future of freedom, the rule of law will be the protector of the rights of every citizen of Iran. All of us in this gathering have this commitment to this future."

Referring to Iran's turbulent history, Pahlavi added: "Throughout history, we have stood and died for Iran, and for this reason, despite centuries of confrontation with occupying enemies, we stood and survived, and we will continue to do so in the future."

He also emphasized: "We are also relatives and our family is the big family of Iran. We are committed to ending any discrimination in a unified and democratic Iran, under the rule of law and the flag of the Lion and the Sun, and guaranteeing individual freedoms and equality of citizens before the law. We stand for the freedom and security of Iran."

At the end of this message, he expressed hope that the period of exile was coming to an end, saying: "I hope that today's meeting will be our last meeting in exile and that we will soon celebrate the freedom of Iran."

Prince Reza Pahlavi also announced the publication of an updated version of the “Emergency Period” booklet, a document that he said would outline the framework for governing the country during the first six months of the transition period. The document is part of the “Iranian Prosperity Project,” which he has introduced as the fifth phase of his five-point strategy.

The full text of the message published by Reza Pahlavi is as follows:

"My dear compatriots,

Today, we are releasing an updated version of the Iran Prosperity Project Emergency Handbook. The Iran Prosperity Project is the fifth part of our five-pronged strategy to reclaim and rebuild Iran. The Prosperity Project provides a vision and a blueprint for the transition to democracy and the reconstruction of the country.

The Emergency Handbook focuses on the first six months of the emergency, the country's immediate needs, the crises ahead during this period, and the solutions and opportunities, and was prepared with the direct participation of dozens of experts. The draft of this booklet was submitted in the summer of 1404.

In the interest of maximum transparency and accountability, experts and the public were asked to share their views with the stakeholders. The Project Shokofaei team spent hundreds of hours talking to experts, reviewed thousands of submissions, and has now presented an updated version.

I am grateful to the management, executive team, writers, and consultants of the Iran Prosperity Project for taking this great step. I also thank all those who thoughtfully and constructively offered their suggestions to improve the quality of this booklet.

For the first time in decades, a national project of this magnitude has been completed with public participation and in a transparent process. We will continue and use this process in other phases of the Prosperity Project and other projects.

The Emergency Manual is the general outline of the structure and programs I support for governing the country in the wake of the fall of the Islamic Republic, in the first six months of the transition period. My team and I are committed to these programs and are ready to take over after the Lion and Sun Revolution achieves victory and overthrows the Islamic Republic. Following that, we will guide and complete the process of transferring power, establishing a transitional system, establishing security, rebuilding the country, and transitioning to democracy.

Because your support and trust, the great nation of Iran, has always been and will be my greatest asset.

"Perseverant Iran,"

With the publication of this document, the debate on the future of Iran's political structure and transition scenarios has entered a new phase. The main question now is whether the opposition will be able to reach a consensus on a common framework and take the announced plans from the level of declaration to the level of implementation.
