US police: YouTube headquarters attacker likely was a woman of Iranian descent

Three people were injured in a shooting at YouTube's headquarters in California, USA. Police say the perpetrator was an Iranian woman named Nasim Najafi Aghdam.
According to NBC News, an Iranian-born woman is the possible perpetrator of the attack on YouTube's headquarters in San Bruno, Northern California, according to US police.
Police say the 39-year-old woman whose body was found inside the building is Nasim Najafi Aghdam and was born in Iran.
Three people were injured in the shooting that took place at YouTube's headquarters in the United States on Tuesday evening, April 3.
Police say they were notified of the incident around 1 p.m. local time on Tuesday and took immediate action.
According to police, the woman who carried out the attack recently lived in Southern California and was also active on YouTube. She has repeatedly criticized YouTube in videos on Instagram and her personal website. In the video, she claimed that YouTube discriminated against her and censored her videos.
The motive for the attack is still unclear. Some media outlets have said the woman intended to kill her boyfriend. Others say he was a YouTube employee in San Diego and the attack was motivated by a personal dispute.
A 36-year-old man and two women, ages 32 and 27, were injured in the attack and are currently being treated at a San Francisco hospital. Initially, there were reports of four people injured, but a fourth person was not shot and was injured while fleeing the building.
According to police, the woman committed suicide after the shooting.
The building was evacuated after police were notified, and hundreds of people left their workplaces. A large number of police were dispatched to the scene, and eyewitnesses reported the presence of helicopters and special forces commandos.
