Prince Reza Pahlavi's congratulatory message to Iranian compatriots on the beginning of the New Year

Prince Reza Pahlavi congratulated his Iranian compatriots around the world on the beginning of the New Year in a video message.

Prince Reza Pahlavi today released a video message congratulating his fellow Iranians on the arrival of the New Year. He began his greetings by expressing hope for a new beginning for the Iranian nation:

"My dear compatriots!

I congratulate you all on the celebration of Nowruz and the beginning of the New Year. The ancient Nowruz is a symbol of national solidarity, stability, and resistance of Iranian culture against the occupiers. It promises a new beginning for the Iranian nation and a long era of freedom, prosperity, and progress after the Islamic Republic.

This year, as the Islamic regime’s efforts to diminish Nowruz have intensified, holding this national celebration in a more grand manner, despite all the hardships the regime has imposed on the Iranian nation, takes on even greater importance. At the beginning of the New Year, I urge all of you, my dear compatriots, to find this year’s Nowruz an opportunity to be kinder to one another and more united against our common enemy, the Islamic Republic.

We begin the New Year at a time when the Islamic Republic is at its weakest and most inefficient. On the one hand, it is losing its proxies and allies one after another, and on the other, it is unable to provide the people with their livelihoods, water, electricity, and gas. It has plundered the nation's wealth and destroyed the country's economy and national currency.

The Islamic Republic is on the verge of collapse, and a unique window of opportunity has opened for major changes and Iran’s liberation from religious tyranny, but we must know that this window of opportunity is not permanent, nor will the fall of the regime happen spontaneously. Instead of waiting for a savior to emerge or for the regime to collapse spontaneously, we must take action and take our destiny into our own hands.

Last year, at your request, I accepted the leadership of the national revolution and the transition period and presented a program based on five main pillars to achieve victory. This year, with pragmatism and redoubled efforts, we have overcome those who are part of the problem. Those who want to be part of the solution have also joined forces and established a framework for cooperation and convergence.

The coming year is the year of organizing for the final action. Let us organize and prepare for the final action in all parts of Iran, from the shores of the Persian Gulf to the shores of the Caspian Sea, from Taq-e Bostan to Naqsh-e Jahan, from Haft-e Tepe to Toos, from Izeh to Gonbad-e Gavous, from Hamun to Urmia, from Karun to Zayandeh-e Rood, from Zaribar to Dasht-e Lut, from Zagros to Alborz, and from Sahand and Sabalan to Alvand and Damavand.

In these early moments of the year, I remember the immortal heroes of the homeland and the political prisoners. I remember the families whose loved ones are dead beside the empty tables of Haft Sin, their memory is with us and their names inspire us on the path to victory. I believe that with the effort, determination and perseverance of you, the united and united nation, our Iran will triumph over the evil of the Islamic Republic and will once again become free and prosperous, a land of stability and prosperity.
