Messages from the Pahlavi family on the occasion of the arrival of Nowruz
In a message on the occasion of Nowruz, Reza Pahlavi says, "In these glorious moments when we are sitting at the Haftsin table and celebrating the birth of the universe at the beginning of the New Year, let us all think about Iran together."
Prince Reza Pahlavi added, "Let us, inspired by the transformation of nature, hand in hand, remove the dust of sadness and despair from our Iran."
The son of the last king of Iran wrote in another post on his Twitter account, "Our Iran, in the capable hands of its knowledgeable and prosperous children, will once again become a free and prosperous land, with people in prosperity and comfort, and oppression and corruption will disappear from it."
Queen Farah Pahlavi also said in a message on the eve of Nowruz, "Nowruz promises a new day, a new spring, and a new year. I congratulate all Iranians on this day. I know what hardships and injustices are happening to those in Iran, but I am confident that our dear compatriots will celebrate Nowruz of freedom in the near future with their efforts."
