Corona in Iran | The beginning of the sixth peak; the number of infected people has increased "7 times" compared to before the Amicron outbreak

While statistics from the Iranian Ministry of Health show that the number of coronavirus cases in Iran has increased 7 times compared to before the outbreak of Amicron, the Ministry of Health's mask application has announced the beginning of the sixth peak of coronavirus in the country.
In the past 24 hours, the official number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran increased by about 2,000, reaching 9,378.
In an announcement, Musk called it necessary to avoid gatherings in closed places, hold classes virtually, have employees work remotely, and prohibit food service in restaurants and halls.
Speaking to ILNA, the secretary of the Iranian Society of Infectious and Tropical Diseases predicted that Iran will reach the peak of the sixth wave by the end of February and the beginning of March. Amitis Ramezani emphasized that the death toll will show itself with a delay of two or three weeks.
The secretary of the Infectious Diseases Association said that reopening schools would cause "greater intensification and acceleration" of the sixth peak.
On the other hand, the head of the Public Relations Center of the Ministry of Health has also announced a simultaneous increase in the number of cases of Delta and Amicron, and the number of Amicron victims has reached 10.
Mohammad Hashemi said in a television interview that compliance with coronavirus health protocols in the country has reached about 46 percent. He said that the Ministry of Health recommends a third dose of the vaccine, and according to statistics, only 17 percent of the eligible population has received their booster dose.
Despite numerous warnings about the need to return to restrictions and concerns about reopening schools and universities, Iran's Interior Minister has said that restrictions will only be imposed if the number of red and orange cities increases.
In the current color-coded map of the coronavirus outbreak, one county is shown in orange (high risk), but in recent months, there has been much criticism of the color-coding criteria.
The secretary of the National Scientific Committee to Combat Corona said: "If the only indicator of color coding for cities is hospitalizations, the impact of the Omicron outbreak in the country may not be accurately determined."
But Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi only emphasized the need for people to comply with the protocols, saying: "Strict compliance with the protocols must be such that we do not need to return to the previous restrictions."
