Two citizens killed in police indiscriminate shooting in Dalahu County

On Sunday, March 12, two citizens from the village of Kamran Rahman in Dalahu County lost their lives following indiscriminate shooting by police officers near the Baba Yadgar Mausoleum.

According to HRANA news agency, citing Kurdpa, on Sunday, March 12, 2021, two citizens lost their lives as a result of shooting by police officers in Dalahu County.

According to this report, the identity of these citizens, who were related as mother and son, has been identified as Pouria Rezaei, 24 years old and with a fisherman's face, from the village of "Kamran Rahman" in Dalahu County, Kermanshah Province.

The report quoted an informed source as saying: "Without prior warning, police officers opened fire on the vehicle of these citizens in the Male Saran area near the Baba Yadgar tomb, killing the mother and child who had gone to visit the Baba Yadgar tomb."

It is said that the bodies of these citizens have been transferred to a hospital in Sar-e-Pul Zahab city.

Part of the annual report on the human rights situation in Iran for 2021 focuses on citizens who have been killed or injured by military organs.

In 2021, a total of 242 citizens were targeted by military forces, of whom 94 lost their lives, including 23 kolbars, 31 fuel carriers, and 40 citizens. 148 citizens were also injured by indiscriminate shooting by military organs, of whom 81 were kolbars, 51 were ordinary citizens, and 16 were fuel carriers.
