"Discovery of images of the German nuclear research center in Abdeslam's house"

According to German media reports, documents and images about the German nuclear research center in Jülich have apparently been found in the apartment of Salah Abdeslam, the main suspect in the Paris attacks, in Brussels.

According to a report published in Spiegel Online, the German news outlet RND (Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland), citing statements by members of the country's parliamentary control committee, announced the discovery of images of Wolfgang Markurat, the CEO of the German nuclear facility in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, in Salah Abdeslam's apartment.

Hans-Georg Maassen, head of the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, provided highly confidential information on the matter to several members of the parliamentary control committee in late March.

According to the report, several members of parliament and a terrorism expert from the Office for the Protection of the Constitution have confirmed that such information exists.

RND says in its report that the German Chancellor's Office and the Interior Ministry have stated that they have no information on this matter.

Salah Abdeslam, the main suspect in the Paris attacks, was arrested in Brussels on March 18 after a four-month manhunt. Abdeslam, of Moroccan descent and born in Brussels, is accused of involvement in the November 13 attacks in Paris that killed 130 people.

His brother also blew himself up during the November 13 assassinations.

According to reports previously reported in the media, the terrorist cell responsible for the Brussels airport and metro attacks spied on a Belgian nuclear researcher. Members of this terrorist cell were arrested on March 22, four days after Abdeslam was captured.
