Discovery of a burned body of a little girl; possibility of another rape

In southern Iran, on the route from Khorramshahr to Abadan Airport, the body of a ten to twelve-year-old child who had been burned was found by municipal workers.
A local official said that it is likely that the child, like Atena, the Parsabadi girl, was the victim of a rapist's evil intent and that the killer burned her to cover up his act. Because there have been no reports of a missing child with the characteristics of the body discovered in the area in recent days, the identity of the little girl remains unknown.
A security official told the Rokna news website that the killer may have committed his crime elsewhere and, after burning the girl, transferred the body to this location.
The security official said he would refrain from making any firm comments until the forensic examination is complete.
