"Gohar Eshghi" and "Kamal Jafari Yazdi": We consider the electoral drama to be baseless and illegitimate

Gohar Eshghi and Kamal Jafariyazdi released a joint message, speaking about the lack of meaning and legitimacy of the electoral drama.
Gohar Eshghi is the mother of the late Iranian blogger "Sattar Beheshti" who died in November 2012. She turned Sattar's death into a media issue and caused widespread controversy. Gohar Eshghi is also known as a political activist.
He, along with Dr. Kamal Jafariyazdi, a civil activist and political prisoner who is also a signatory of the letter known as the "Fourteen Signatures," expressed their opinions and views on the deplorable conditions in the country and the elections in a joint message addressed to the Iranian people.
Gohar Eshghi and Kamal Jafari Yazdi expressed their joint message as follows: "We share our opinion and views on the bad and miserable conditions of the country with you, the people of Iran, who are the true guardians of any sovereignty."
The text of the joint message of the aforementioned civil activists is as follows: "Oppressed nation of Iran! The current corrupt regime is trying to convince us through widespread repression and policies of intimidation that there is no way out of the current situation and that those who remain are slaves to this inhuman and hellish system, unaware that history shows that the Iranian people will not tolerate any oppressive government forever. In our opinion, there is not much time left until the final determination of the people's fate through repressive actions.
The current deplorable conditions have directly affected the quality of life, social facilities, and access to equal educational and health opportunities, especially for our courageous women and girls, and have deepened social gaps and class gaps! We believe that this gender discrimination and systematic oppression have become the main cause of the Women's Revolution of Freedom Life.
The execution of the children of the Iranian nation, in order to create terror and prevent the collapse of the regime's weak foundations, has deprived a large part of society of security and mental peace, and has created an atmosphere of despair, disillusionment, and public mourning. This social depression, like a deep fault, has engulfed Iranian society, leading to suicides of young people and teenagers, widespread migration, and even the flight of the elite from the country, and a sharp decline in the quality of life of our country's youth.
Of course, we all know what the real purpose of the authoritarian and classist regime is with these insane behaviors. The Islamic regime, aware of the blind spots it has created, has cunningly started wasting the country's resources, and by holding a fake election that is at best a series of arbitrary appointments, is trying to present a show of legitimacy and pseudo-democracy to the world. We consider this show to be devoid of any basis or legitimacy, and we call on the informed people of Iran to boycott it.
We are aware of the oppression that the Islamic Republic of Iran is inflicting on Iranian ethnic groups, including Kurds, Baluchis, Turks, Gilaks, Arabs, etc., and we stand with you all. Here, we ask the Iranian people not to remain silent in the face of the government's divisiveness and oppression, and not to allow Iranians to turn against each other under false pretenses, and to divert your attention and focus from the country's main problems by creating a bipolar atmosphere. We also support the legal equality of all Iranian ethnic groups and the full realization of their rights.
We hold the corrupt and incompetent government of the Islamic Republic to be the main culprit for the widespread poverty and misery of our compatriots. The current regime has done nothing for the economy or the human dignity of Iranian citizens, except for wasting the country's vital resources, spending huge sums of money on regional arson, and of course, stealing, embezzling, and plundering the Iranian national treasury.
Workers without rights and despair, educated people without a future, and masses of desperate youth have turned life under the rule of the Islamic Republic into a great hell for most social classes and groups. The elimination of meat, chicken, eggs, protein, fruit, bread, and many basic items from the people's table is a clear disaster that has been unparalleled in historical times.
Today, the majority of our people are only looking to survive, not to live. This is how garbage collection becomes a job, and the pits on the outskirts of cities are getting bigger every day. The main culprits of this terrible free fall are the ruling looters.
We believe that as long as the current government continues to operate with rampant corruption and violence, there will be no hope for saving this country. For this reason, we call not only on the Iranian nation, but also on the international community to support the oppressed people of Iran so that they themselves can destroy this rotten edifice and achieve true freedom.
We emphasize that the Iranian nation has no enmity with any nation in the world, and that this ruling regime, without the people's consent, fanns the flames of racial hatred, division, and terrorism to make the region and the world insecure and to fish from muddy waters. In this connection, we also call on Iranians abroad to move in the right direction of the revolution of women living in freedom and to reflect the voices of their compatriots inside the country, and not allow political opportunists to exploit their feelings.
We hope that we will soon witness profound changes in the political horizon of the country at the hands of the Iranian people. Until then, we will be with you.
Long live the Iranian nation, long live Iran!
