Yasman Ariani was transferred to the "IRGC Intelligence Unit in Evin Prison"

Yasman Ariani, a civil activist who was sentenced to more than sixteen years in prison for opposing the mandatory hijab, was transferred from the women's ward to the IRGC Intelligence Ward (known as Ward 2A) in Evin Prison on Saturday evening.
The human rights agency "HRANA" reported that Yasman's father, who went to Evin Prison to visit on Sunday, was informed that his daughter had been transferred to Ward 2A last night.
Yasman Ariani, her mother Monireh Arabshahi, and Mojgan Keshavarz were arrested and sentenced to a total of more than 55 years in prison after a video was released showing them distributing flower branches to passengers on the Tehran Metro without headscarves on the occasion of International Women's Day.
These heavy sentences were met with global reactions, and the US State Department spokesperson also condemned it.
