An Iranian-British businessman was "kidnapped and handed over to the IRGC" in Iraq

The Persian-language Al-Arabiya website has reported the "kidnapping" of an Iranian-British businessman named "Seyed Mohammad Khatami" in Iraq and his "handover" to the Revolutionary Guards.
According to the report, this dual citizen, nicknamed "Abu Wafa", had gone to Karbala and Najaf to "spend the Nights of Power."
Al-Arabiya, without mentioning the name of a specific group, wrote that "an Iraqi militia group affiliated with Iran" had "kidnapped" the businessman and "handed him over" to Iran.
The report also stated that Khatami's "delivery" time was Monday night, May 10th.
In this report, Mohammad Khatami is introduced as someone from a "religious" family, born in Iraq, and whose "father was a friend" of Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic.
Al-Arabiya published a photo of Mohammad Khatami next to Abolhassan Banisadr, the first president of Iran, and wrote that he, who also played a role in the establishment of the Revolutionary Guards, left Iran after Banisadr's dismissal.
The governments of Iran and Iraq have not yet reacted to this news.
Previously, Ruhollah Zam, a journalist and political activist critical of the Islamic Republic, was kidnapped in Iraq and handed over to Iran, where he was executed after a while.
