30% of Iranian students do not have access to virtual learning facilities

While the Minister of Education said that 30 percent of students in Iran do not have access to virtual education facilities, a ministry official announced that students will be attending virtual classrooms starting April 6.
The head of the Planning and Information Technology Center of the Ministry of Education announced that students will participate in virtual classes on the "Shad" network after the Nowruz holidays.
Mehdi Sharafi said that so far, about 90,000 schools have access to this network.
Also on Sunday, Education Minister Mohsen Haji Mirzaei said that 30 percent of educational districts and schools do not have communication access to conduct virtual education.
Iranian schools have been closed until April 10, and a decision will be made about their resumption after this date.
