9.4 percent of Tehran province’s active population were unemployed in autumn this year

The deputy director of statistics and information at the Tehran Province Management and Planning Organization stated: Based on the latest results released by the Iran Statistics Center, the unemployment rate for the population aged 15 and older in Tehran province during the fall season of the current year is estimated at 9.4 percent. In other words, 9.4 percent of Tehran province’s active population (employed and unemployed) were unemployed in autumn this year.

He stated: The unemployment rate for the population aged 15 and older in fall 1398 for all of Iran was 10.6 percent, and the highest unemployment rate in fall 1398 was reported in Kermanshah province at 16.3 percent.
