Yasmin Pahlavi’s Message to the Iranian People; Emphasis on Imminent Victory and National Solidarity

Yasmin Pahlavi’s message to the Iranian people was released under current sensitive circumstances; in this message, while referring to years of struggle, she spoke of national solidarity and hope for freedom.

As Iran moves through tense and pivotal days, the release of a message from Yasmin Pahlavi addressed to the Iranian people has received widespread coverage on social media and Persian-language outlets. This message was released at a time when the country’s political atmosphere remains volatile, and discussions about the future of governance structure, the transition period, and the role of various political forces continue among the public discourse.

Yasmin Pahlavi, wife of Reza Pahlavi, has repeatedly responded to the country’s internal conditions in recent years alongside her civil and social activities, particularly in the field of raising awareness about the human rights situation in Iran. Her recent message continues in this vein, referring to years of the people’s struggle, the suffering of families who lost loved ones, and hope for a different future.

This message comes at a time when Iran faces deep economic, social, and political challenges. Recent protests, international pressures, and widespread gaps in various sectors have made discussions about the country’s future one of the most important topics among Iranians both inside and outside the country. In such an atmosphere, messages from recognized political and social figures can influence public opinion and help strengthen or direct existing discourses.

Below is the full text of Yasmin Pahlavi’s message addressed to the Iranian people:

“My dear compatriots,

Your forty-seven years of courageous struggle for Iran’s freedom is today closer to victory than ever. The Islamic Republic, through the unprecedented slaughter of defenseless people and endless support for global terrorism, left no path for the peace-loving Iranian nation except humanitarian military intervention; a nation that has been deprived of the right to a normal life for years.

The contemptible death of Ali Khamenei was a balm to some of our deep suffering, but it is not the end of the struggle. We never forget that we are indebted to the pure blood of Iran’s children, the honorable and conscious men and women in captivity, and the suffering families seeking justice for the path to freedom.

In these days, what pressed my heart most as a mother was seeing the tears and longing of innocent and beautiful children over the graves of their father or mother. But those same children, with their powerful and hopeful speeches, lit a light in my heart; speeches that are not merely symbolic, but a true guarantee of Iran’s brilliant future.

In these history-making moments, my heart is with you in every corner of Iran, my compatriots, especially the noble families of the immortal fallen of the freedom path. I believe that with your hope, solidarity, and iron will, Iran’s freedom will soon be achieved.

Long live Iran”

The release of this message again demonstrates that at the current juncture, Iran’s political landscape extends beyond field developments, but is also an arena of discursive competition and efforts to shape the future. Supporters of Reza Pahlavi view this message as a sign of his family’s solidarity and sympathy with the Iranian people, while critics continue to emphasize the necessity of inclusive national dialogue and determining the future course through democratic mechanisms.

What is certain is that Iran stands on the threshold of significant changes, and various voices, from civil activists to political figures, seek to play a role in this historic juncture.
