France Increases Humanitarian Visas for Iranians in Response to Severe Crackdowns
Following a sharp escalation of severe crackdowns in Iran, France has announced it will support victims of human rights violations and asylum seekers by increasing humanitarian visas for Iranians at risk.

The French Foreign Minister emphasized that this support will particularly be provided through accepting opponents who are being persecuted by the government and seeking asylum in France. According to him, France is increasing humanitarian visas for these individuals to protect those in need of support.
