Unprecedented Statements by “Hamza Safavi”: The Assassination Threat to “Ali Khamenei” is Real

“Hamza Safavi,” the son of Ali Khamenei’s military advisor, has warned of the reality of the possibility of Khamenei’s assassination.
“Hamza Safavi,” a political science professor and son of “Yahya Rahimssafavi,” emphasizing the possibility of Israeli actions against Ali Khamenei, called for Iran’s readiness to face war and assassination scenarios.
Hamza Safavi, Khamenei’s senior military advisor, in a video interview with unprecedented remarks, considered the possibility of the assassination of Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by Israel as probable. He also warned that Iran must be fully prepared to face such scenarios, even if these actions are carried out independently of American authorization.
Safavi, identified as a political science professor at Tehran University, repeatedly referred in this interview to Israel’s capability in targeting the country’s first and second-ranking officials, saying: “If the issue of access to the first and second persons of the country arises, they will do it at any cost, even by accepting the risk of a possible war.”
He added, while alluding to America’s possible role: “If Israel carries out this action without American permission, America will be in a position where the action has been done and Iran faces a serious problem, but it will have to sit down and think.”
Hamza Safavi also referred to previous actions and statements by “Donald Trump” about a 12-day war with Iran, recalling that some taboos have been broken and the path for future wars has been paved. While warning of “gradual erosion” and progressive pressures on Iran, he said: “All my concern is from the scenario of gradual erosion with humiliations and progressive pressures.”
In this interview, the son of Khamenei’s senior military advisor criticized his stances on negotiations with America and emphasized the necessity of “comprehensive negotiations.” He noted that the JCPOA was a single-issue agreement and therefore was unsuccessful, and Iran should pursue a comprehensive agreement with America that goes beyond the enrichment issue.
Given the emphasis of Israeli officials and the history of tensions, Hamza Safavi’s remarks reflect domestic concerns about the security of Iranian leaders and the possibility of future military developments in the Middle East. He spoke of the necessity of preparing for all scenarios, even in situations where these actions could lead to war or escalation of regional crises.
It should be noted that these unprecedented remarks are an alarm bell for observers and the international community. The warnings from the son of Iran’s senior military advisor show that the security situation and regional stability remain fragile, and there is a possibility of unpredictable actions, including the assassination of leaders or escalation of tensions. Such circumstances not only place Iran but all neighboring countries and global actors at serious risk and further highlight the necessity of diplomatic response, defense readiness, and prevention of potential crises.
