Yisrael Katz said in a message about Israel’s war: “Israel is not fighting only for its survival, we are fighting against radical Islamism.”

Yisrael Katz, Israel’s Defense Minister, spoke about Israel’s war against Hamas and Iran during a meeting with a delegation of senior officials headed by “Mike Johnson,” the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

In a message posted on social media platform X, while thanking representatives for their unwavering support for Israel and efforts to free and return hostages, he wrote: “Israel is not fighting only for its survival; we stand at the forefront of the free world’s battle against radical Islamist ideologies.”

In his message, he added: “The Midnight Hammer and Lion’s Dawn operations against Iran’s government reflect the deep alliance and shared values of Israel and America—freedom, justice, and unconditional defense of liberty.”

Yisrael Katz also stated last year that Israel is designing a global war against radical Islam led by Iran. He also emphasized regarding the war against Hamas that the main objective is Hamas’s defeat and the return of all hostages, while regime forces are extensively strengthening their influence.
