Empress Farah Pahlavi: Greatness Will Return to Our Ancient Land

Empress Farah Pahlavi spoke at the “National Cooperation for Saving Iran” conference about the return of greatness to Iran’s ancient land in a message.

On the morning of Saturday, July 26, corresponding to the 4th of Mordad, the “National Cooperation for Saving Iran” conference was held in Munich, Germany, with the presence of Prince Reza Pahlavi and a gathering of political and social activists, artists, athletes and activists numbering over 500 opponents of the Islamic Republic regime.

Following the release of a statement by Prince Reza Pahlavi’s press office, about holding the largest and most diverse gathering of Islamic Republic opponents to take advantage of the opportunity for democratic change in Iran, a broad spectrum of monarchists, republicans, and representatives from various Iranian ethnicities and religions participated in the conference.

Participants in this conference released a statement based on fundamental principles including “preservation of Iran’s territorial integrity, safeguarding of individual freedoms and equality of all citizens, separation of religion from government and determination of Iran’s future form of government in a democratic manner by the people.”

In this statement, while referring to Iran’s need for a new, free, and democratic system, it was written: “Based on a shared vision and deep sense of responsibility, we commit to cooperating for the transition from the Islamic Republic system.” They also called for securing the rights of the Iranian people and an appropriate place for Iran in the international community.

The conference began with a message from Empress Farah Pahlavi and was broadcast to participants present in the conference hall. While paying tribute to those who lost their lives for freedom in Iran and expressing sympathy with the families of victims present at this gathering, Empress Farah Pahlavi said: “You have suffered for more than four decades. Your right is freedom, prosperity and dignity, and your sacrifice and dedication in achieving freedom and lost rights deserve appreciation. For all of you who have gathered to be helpers in the national salvation of Iran through national cooperation, I wish victory.”

At the end of her message, Empress Farah, while emphasizing the unity and oneness of Iranians, added: “I believe that with the will and national solidarity, greatness and glory will return to our ancient land and the light of Iran will triumph over the darkness of Ahriman.”

Prince Reza Pahlavi, by attending this conference, called it one of the most diverse gatherings of the anti-regime movement that has been held outside the country since the revolution. Speaking at this conference, he said: “The goal is to show that more than ever before, we have a growing coalition of like-minded individuals who want to work together. This gathering consists of diverse individuals and may be the largest gathering that has represented all factions in Iran’s political arena.”

At the National Cooperation for Saving Iran conference, a video message from Googoosh, a pop music star, was also released. In this message, while describing Iran as “the wounded body of a mother,” she addressed the Iranian people, saying: “We are here today to respect our differences; respect in honor of a shared belief, Iran. A country that is our home, and we care for our home and its inhabitants.

Our country is wounded; like a mother whose children have gathered around her to heal her with cooperation and sympathy and restore her vitality. We want our home whole and with all its colors. Just as no house becomes joyful with prison, freedom for us is a principle; freedom in belief, freedom in lifestyle, freedom in religion and freedom in political and intellectual opinion.” At the end of her message, pop music star Googoosh added: “On this path, I am with all my heart alongside my compatriots.”

“Alireza Nourizadeh,” an analyst of Iranian affairs, also said about this conference: “European countries, by monitoring Iranian society and realizing Prince Reza Pahlavi’s popularity among Iranians, changed their approach towards him. European countries sense the situation inside Iran and see that there is no alternative to Prince Reza Pahlavi for change in Iran, and the presence of Iranian elites at today’s conference will also be influential in changing the European Union’s approach.”

“Lehrassib Zeinali Shahsoon,” Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Movement for Democracy and Iran’s Integrity, also said at this conference: “No revolution succeeds without a shared belief in victory. Revolutions need ideology and the ideology of the Iranian people is nationalism.”

“Mostafa Babaian,” by attending this conference, on behalf of the Association of Pilots of the Imperial Iranian Air Force, called on the armed forces of the Islamic Republic to join the Iranian nation.

“Mouloud Hajizadeh,” an economic journalist, also speaking at the National Cooperation for Saving Iran conference, said: “Iranian society has reached the post-Islamic Republic era and all the models that the government has tried to replace the Iranian nation with the structure of the Islamic Ummah are collapsing.”

“Tayeb Azmoudeh,” a wrestling champion, also said in his speech at this conference: “As a Kurdish Iranian, I keep the Lion and Sun flag raised and say that we believe in Iran’s territorial integrity and we want a free, prosperous and united Iran.”

“Hassan Mansoor,” a professor of economics, also spoke at this conference and said: “There is a huge gap between the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic government, and this gap is the product of accumulated crises that are now manifesting simultaneously and have placed the Islamic Republic at a breaking point. Today, every Iranian must place Iran above any ideology.” Hassan Mansoor’s remarks were welcomed by conference participants, and were noted as a call to move beyond ideological boundaries and focus on Iran’s national interests.
