Prince Reza Pahlavi’s Presence at All-Party Meeting in British House of Commons

Prince Reza Pahlavi attended an all-party meeting in the British House of Commons to support the struggle of the Iranian people.
“Shahran Tabari,” journalist and political analyst, commented on the details of the discussions raised by Prince Reza Pahlavi at this meeting: “The mentioned meeting was a closed-door session where only invited individuals were present. Two parliament members, one from the Labor Party and another from the Conservative Party, had invited some representatives and monarchs to participate in this meeting.
Mr. Iain Duncan Smith, a representative of the Labor Party, initially stated that we cannot conduct a proper poll in Iran to support Prince Pahlavi, but evidence and indicators show that Prince Reza Pahlavi is the only person who can play the role of successor after the collapse of the Islamic Republic.”
Prince Reza Pahlavi, in response to the parliament members’ request regarding the hundred-day program that had been planned in the Iran Blooming Project, elaborated: “We have thought and planned for all aspects in the first hundred days after the collapse, and this planning has also been conducted within Iran by inviting experts and political practitioners who can cooperate in the Iran Blooming Project.”
One of the issues that is very important for the representatives and subsequently for the British government is that after the collapse of the Islamic Republic, there will be a power vacuum, and this power vacuum will also create a security vacuum. This is a very fundamental issue for Western countries that conduct a significant portion of their trade through the Persian Gulf and do not want instability in the region.
The Prince, regarding the representatives’ concerns on this matter, said: “We have plans for this issue as well. We have placed a QR code at the disposal of the people and have asked military personnel from the armed forces to contact us through this method to express their readiness to cooperate. It should be noted that despite the Islamic Republic’s propaganda against this planning, many people have responded to this call so far. These propaganda efforts indicate threats made to specialists and military personnel to join the Iran Blooming Project, and if any person or persons join this project, the Islamic Republic government will discover it, and death sentences have been considered for those who declare their readiness to participate in this project.”
According to Shahran Tabari’s statements, another important issue is that Britain and European countries do not want to create the impression that the British government intends to select someone to lead Iran. However, all these meetings and discussions with representatives and the Foreign Secretary are so they become convinced that Prince Reza Pahlavi’s succession replacing the Islamic Republic is the right path and the British government should support it, rather than announcing the Prince as a successor.
The British government also stated that our goal is to support the Iranian people, not a specific person, because the Iranian people have repeatedly asked Western governments to place the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and elements of the Islamic Republic on the blacklist of sanctions so that this maximum pressure leads to regime change in Iran.
