US Attacks Fordow Nuclear Facility with B2 Bomber

The United States launched an attack on the Fordow nuclear facility last night using stealth B2 bombers.
The United States attacked the nuclear sites of Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan last night on June 21, equivalent to June 31 on the Persian calendar, using B2 bombers. Following last night’s attack, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social: “Fordow has been destroyed. We have concluded a very successful attack on three Iranian nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft have now exited Iranian airspace. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the main site, Fordow. All aircraft are en route home and in complete safety. I congratulate our great American warriors. No other military in the world could have done this. Now is the time for peace.”
He also stated in another message: “This is a historic moment for the United States, Israel, and the world. Iran must now agree to end this war.”
Until this moment, Iran has not officially responded to Donald Trump’s statements regarding the bombing and destruction of the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear bases, though media outlets have referred to the bombing as an “allegation.”
Hassan Aabedini, the political deputy of Iran’s state radio and television, said in a live broadcast on the news network: “Iran had evacuated the nuclear site some time ago. Enriched uranium reserves have been transferred from nuclear centers and there will be no radiation as a result of the attack.”
American media also reported that the US attack was carried out using several B2 bombers, and approximately 30 tons of bombs were dropped on the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities in last night’s attacks. It should be noted that these bombers are capable of carrying bunker-busting bombs. According to American media reports, the Fordow site has been buried inside a mountain as a result of these attacks. Rick Crawford, a member of the US House of Representatives, wrote on X regarding the US attack on Iran: “I regret that Iran brought the world to this point. I thank Trump for his decisive action.”
Marsha Blackburn, a Republican US Senator, also said regarding her country’s attack on three atomic centers of the Islamic Republic: “Donald Trump knows that peace comes only through the path of power. This is a victory for the United States.”
John Fetterman, another Republican Senate member, also stated: “This was a correct action by Trump. Iran is the world’s greatest supporter of terrorism and should not be allowed to achieve nuclear capability.”
Following the escalation of Israeli attacks on other targets in various regions of Iran, some local sources reported hearing explosion sounds at dawn on Sunday, June 22, equivalent to June 1 on the Persian calendar, in the cities of Kashan, Tabriz, and Tehran. Air defense systems were also activated in the areas of Tehran, Qom, Urmia, Mahabad, Hamadan, Karaj, Tabriz, Kashan, Arak, and Bandar Abbas.
So far, official Iranian sources and Islamic Republic officials have made no statements regarding these attacks, and due to widespread internet outages, accurate information about the extent of damage or potential casualties has not been released.
