“Donald Trump”: The Islamic Republic Will Not Be Allowed to Enrich Uranium

Donald Trump announced in a post that the Islamic Republic will not be allowed to enrich uranium, stating we will not permit them to do so.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, while making an implicit criticism of Joe Biden, the former US President, said: “Autopen, a tool for automatic signatures, should have prevented Iran from enriching uranium long ago.” In a message posted on the Truth social network, referring to a possible agreement in negotiations with the Islamic Republic, he wrote: “We will not allow the Islamic Republic to enrich uranium.”
Ayatollah Khamenei and other officials of the Islamic Republic have repeatedly stated that uranium enrichment is their red line, while the United States emphasizes the dismantling of nuclear facilities and halting enrichment. Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, also expressed during his visit to Cairo: “Enrichment based on international treaties is our right and this right cannot be taken from Iran. If America wants to deprive us of nuclear technology, there will certainly be no agreement.”
Araghchi, referring to multiple rounds of nuclear negotiations between Iran and America, added: “If the purpose of negotiations is to deprive Iran of peaceful activities, there will certainly be no agreement, and we will never leave the negotiating table to prove our legitimacy. Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful; we have nothing to hide. I am confident that through diplomacy we can reach better solutions and prevent further crises.”
He also commented on the activation of the trigger mechanism: “Regarding the trigger mechanism, we hope European countries will not make this mistake. This policy will be wrong and will add to existing crises. The Iranian nation has paid a heavy price for uranium enrichment. The Agency should not allow the credibility of this institution to become subject to the interests and political pressures of some member countries.”
