Prince Reza Pahlavi Reacts to Execution of Majhid Kurdkoor

Prince Reza Pahlavi strongly reacted to the execution of Majhid Kurdkoor.
Majhid Kurdkoor, who was arrested by security forces in Izeh during nationwide protests in December 2022, was sentenced to death by the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court in March 2023 on charges of “moharebeh (waging war against God) and spreading corruption on earth.” His sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court following a previous annulment and was confirmed once again by the parallel panel.
Following his last visit with his family in prison, Majhid was executed at dawn on Wednesday, June 11, which coincided with the birthday of Kian Pirfalak, whom Majhid was also accused of killing.
His execution sparked widespread reactions among human rights activists, social media users, and prominent figures around the world. Prince Reza Pahlavi also strongly reacted to his execution and posted a message regarding the implementation of this sentence on the X social media platform.
Prince Pahlavi wrote in his message: “The killer of Kian Pirfalak, Majhid Kurdkoor, and other innocent children of Iran is one person: Ali Khamenei. As long as we do not succeed, he and his tyrannical regime will continue this daily killing. Unite, and we will prevail.”
