Trump Prevents Israeli Attack on Iran During Negotiations

Donald Trump prevented an Israeli attack on Iran during negotiations.

US President Donald Trump, given that negotiations with Tehran are ongoing, prevented an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities that was scheduled to begin in early May.

The first round of negotiations held last Saturday was based on the decision that if Iran did not reach a nuclear agreement with the United States, Israel would attack Iran targeting nuclear facilities and rolling back nuclear activities. However, reports released today indicate that this attack has been temporarily halted through negotiations between Trump and Netanyahu.

During Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent visit to the United States, Donald Trump informed him that he would not support an Israeli attack on Iran as long as negotiations are ongoing. The Israeli Prime Minister’s visit to America came after Trump administration officials suddenly notified Netanyahu and requested that he immediately travel to Washington.

Donald Trump, despite disagreements within his administration over how to deal with the Islamic Republic, decided to not support an Israeli attack on Iran for now, but clearly emphasized that in case negotiations with Tehran fail, bombing will be imminent. This decision comes as the White House and the Israeli Prime Minister’s office have not yet commented on this report.

The bombing plan that Netanyahu and the Trump administration had programmed was designed to begin in early May and last approximately one week. This bombing was supposed to begin with attacks on air defense systems remaining from Israel’s previous attack on Iran to pave the way for Israeli fighter jets and targeting of nuclear sites.

According to experts, the success of an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities definitely depends on US military support, and the United States is currently providing Israel with air defense systems, including six stealth B2 bunker-buster bombers stationed in close proximity to Iran, and American naval vessels have also been deployed to the region, all indicating America’s readiness to support a potential Israeli attack against the Islamic Republic. Additionally, Donald Trump has emphasized that in case negotiations fail, bombing of nuclear facilities and other atomic bomb-making sites will be inevitable.
