Prince Reza Pahlavi: A Revolution Similar to the 1979 Revolution is Underway

Prince Reza Pahlavi, during an interview, announced the occurrence of a revolution similar to the 1979 revolution.
Prince Reza Pahlavi, in an interview held on Sunday, February 23 with the British newspaper “The Telegraph,” discussed the existence of conditions for a revolution in Iran and stated that the opportunity for such change might only last a few months.
While referring to the fact that a revolution similar to the 1979 revolution is taking shape in Iran, he emphasized: “The West must prepare for the imminent collapse of the Islamic Republic and support the growing wave of opposition in Iran.” He also declared: “The situation of the Islamic Republic is economically critical within the country and militarily critical abroad, and this system is ideologically on the verge of death.”
Prince Pahlavi said in this interview: “There is a vital window of opportunity for historical change. It may only be open for a few months; now is the time to act. Iran is in a state of revolutionary fervor or at least on the eve of revolution. The Islamic Republic is rapidly losing its authority, even among its long-standing supporters. Western governments must use this opportunity to help Iranians and create a secular democracy through civil disobedience.”
He also said, referring to the West’s approach toward the Islamic Republic: “What we have told the Americans and Europeans is not to abandon failed diplomacy and directly resort to conflict and war. There is a third option that is considered the best option against the Islamic Republic, and that is the Iranian people.”
Prince Pahlavi emphasized: “The regime is in its most vulnerable and weakest situation, and at the same time, our nation has never been as ready for change as it is now.”
The Telegraph also referred to the protests by various segments of the Iranian people, which have been increasing, and the slogans that people chant in the streets every day, and wrote: “Even critics of Reza Pahlavi admit that he at least has a plan for changing the situation in Iran and enjoys public recognition both inside and outside the country. Prince Pahlavi’s words are what he wanted to tell Western governments at the Munich Security Conference. That engagement with the Islamic Republic regime has failed, but if possible, military action should be avoided.”
Reza Pahlavi also said regarding regime change: “Regime change in Iran has nothing to do with what the West, especially and specifically the United States, experienced in Afghanistan and Iraq after September 11.”
He also presented his strategy at the Geneva human rights session on February 19, and while referring to the conditions prevailing in Iranian society and the destructive measures of the government, presented a five-point strategy for overthrowing the Islamic Republic and said that at the request of Iranians, he would lead the movement and transfer of power.
